How can I get connected at Lakewood Park?
We believe that connecting with others is one of the most important aspects of growing as a follower of Jesus Christ. That’s why we established some smaller group opportunities for you to grow in your understanding of the Bible while building relationships with other people like you.
Adult Bible Studies
One of the best ways to get connected is in one of our Adult Bible Studies on Sunday morning. These classes are usually made up of 20-45 people which allows for a more personal atmosphere for asking questions, applying the Bible to your life and getting better acquainted with others in our church family. Bible Studies are held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Click here for a list of available classes.
Membership
Once people have become familiar with who we are and how we are living out God’s purposes in the world, we encourage them to become a participating member of Lakewood Park. Real community begins when we make a commitment to belong to the group. The Bible clearly teaches that we are better together – that God designed us to live together in community – to love and serve each other in the name of Jesus Christ. That’s what our church is all about.
The best way to find out about membership at Lakewood Park is to attend our “TEAM FORMATION” class. This class is taught once every quarter by our Senior Pastor. It is a great way to learn what we are all about and to get to know our Pastor. To sign up, click here.
