How can I serve through Lakewood Park Ministries?
Serving others is one of the core purposes of life. It is also one of the primary ways that we demonstrate our love for God. Jesus said that whatever we do for the least of these, we do for Him. It’s a powerful reminder that God expects us to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Serving in the Church
There are many opportunities to be involved in serving God’s family. Every Sunday we have a variety of responsibilities that need to be fulfilled if we are going to help people feel welcomed to God’s house. It is our goal to help people feel like they belong.
Service opportunities in the church include Guest Ministries, Reign Forrest Nursery, Land of Promise Children’s Ministry, Youth, teaching, leading worship as a musician or vocalist, etc. You can click on Ministry Explorer to learn more about a specific ministry and how you can be involved.

We also have many Community Service project opportunities available through our Adult Bible Study groups. This is an effective way to get beyond the walls of the church and do something meaningful to serve your neighbor.
Maybe you are not sure what area would best fit you. A good place to start is our “Elevate” Class 301. This class is designed to help you discover your God-given design – how your unique personality, abilities, spiritual gifts, and life experiences have been woven together to prepare you to serve people for the Glory of God.
