What should I expect when I get there?
Lakewood Park is known as a friendly church. There will be someone to meet you at the door when you enter the building. They are there to serve you and will help you locate where you would like to go. They can direct you to restrooms, worship center, children’s areas or to the Crossroads Café where you can grab a cup of coffee and a muffin before proceeding into the worship center.
Our worship services are a blend of contemporary praise and worship music with some of the more traditional songs that have been such an encouragement over the years. We have a live band and worship team to lead us, and we often use videos and drama to highlight or reinforce the primary teaching point of the day. God’s word is the focus. Our goal is to help change lives by teaching the truth in such a way that it can be clearly understood and applied to everyday life.
We want you to have the freedom to check us out without the fear of being singled out as a “visitor.” So we will do our best to help you feel at home without embarrassing you in any way. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have before or after the service.
